Prestige Worldwide Wrestling was founded in October of 2009 by Christian Olanowski and Kevin Keck as a way for high school wrestlers in Virginia to gain off season wrestling experience while competing with their friends. Upon Keck’s high school graduation, Olanowski took full responsibility for the team. The team is now coached by Christian Olanowski and Gabe LaVey
In 2012 the team ramped it’s level of competition up and began competing on a national level. Since then the team has become an All-Star National Team in the state of Virginia. In 2015 the team was formed into a non-profit organization to help ease fundraising efforts. In 2015 the team raised $17,000 to help high school athletes travel and compete throughout the summer.
Since 2012 26 athletes who have been on the team have continued their athletic career in college. The long-term goal of the organization is to raise enough money to eventually start a scholarship fund for its athletes.
